Prominent Placement Founder Named Finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year

May 15, 2006 - Stacy Williams, managing partner and founder of Atlanta search engine optimization company Prominent Placement, has been named one of three finalists for the 2006 Georgia Women Entrepreneurs (GWEN) Award. The GWEN Award, which has been presented since 2001 by the Georgia Small Business Development Network (SBDC), honors a woman who has built a thriving business in the state of Georgia.

The award will be presented during the Awards Gala grand finale of the GWEN 2006 Conference. The annual conference will be held May 16-17 at the Cobb Galleria Centre in suburban Atlanta, and brings together leading women business owners from across the state to network and learn new business strategies to propel their businesses to the next level.

The GWEN Award recognizes women who have built successful businesses with the assistance of the SBDC. Each year, SBDC counselors nominate select female business owners for the prestigious award.
